All instructors, no matter what field of expertise, should be women of a mature station in life (we’ll say over 40) and have a southern accent. If I was staying at someone’s house, for free, that would be okay. It bugs me to pay hundreds of dollars for a room and sleep on an air mattress.

Aubie’s a skatin’ fool. She picked up on it pretty quickly. Even more impressive was the fact she told her mom, “I’m going to be persistent. I’m not leaving until I’m good at it.”

We can’t go there in our bathing suits. It’s 35 degrees this morning, but it’s 80 something inside. It just feels…off.
Last night, we were lucky
The boys stayed in another room with a friend of theirs. It was just us 3 adults and Aub. At 11:30, I went in to bed, closed my eyes and it was morning. Shannon and Aub slept on the pull out couch together. They’re still sleeping. At least we got one night’s rest this weekend.
